As a child I went to church. Like most children I absorbed information like a sponge and although I did not release it at the time these were the first building blocks of my faith .
Seeing my own children develop and grow their own faith has been such a privilege. So beautiful to watch children develop, grow, feel Gods love only in the way a child can.
Children believe: trust and grow their faith in their own unique way. We can give them the tools they need to grow. But their faith it comes from within.
Each child is different and will follow a path that works for them as parents it’s our job to nurture hold and protect it as it grows.
The responsibility we have to our children’s faith is huge and sometimes we need to be more relaxed about it and let them lead us.
Praying with them is so grounding and full of pure beautiful love
we have so much to learn from them.
“Let the young children alone, and stop hindering them from coming to me, for the kingdom of the heavens belongs to suchlike ones.” (Matt. 19:13, 14)
